Home care to keep teeth and gum free from disease.
* Visit your dentist at least every six months to remove the plate. Should follow the recommendations of medical care in the home.
* Brush your teeth gently with a soft bristle brush after every meal. It is possible that the dentist recommends rinsing with salt water or hydrogen peroxide and water, but they should avoid commercial mouthwashes that contain alcohol, aggravating the problem.
* Use dental floss twice a day to prevent the formation of plaque.
* Remove snacks between meals and reduce consumption of carbohydrates to help prevent the accumulation of plaque on the teeth.
* Use an oral irrigation device with low intensity for massaging the gums.
* Maintain a healthy and balanced diet.
