The careful oral hygiene helps prevent mouth sores.

Here are guidelines for the treatment of dry mouth.
     * Clean the mouth and teeth at least four times per day.
     * Clean with dental floss once a day.
     * Use toothpaste with fluoride for teeth brushing.
     * Applying fluoride gel once daily at bedtime, after cleaning the teeth.
     * Rinse 4 to 6 times a day with a solution of salt and baking soda (mix 1 / 2 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon baking soda in 1 cup of warm water). Avoid foods and liquids with high sugar content. Drinking water to relieve dry mouth.
A dentist can provide the following treatments:
     * Solutions to replace minerals in teeth.
     * Mouthwashes to control the infection in the mouth.
     * Substitute salivary or drugs to stimulate the salivary glands.
     * Treatment with fluoride to prevent tooth decay.
