destroy supporting tissues around the teeth. The gums are becoming loose will loosen and separate from the teeth, forming pockets that fill with more plaque.As the disease progresses, the pockets become deeper.The plate moves to the roots of the teeth.The bone that holds the tooth can then suffer permanent. Unless they are treated on time, the affected teeth can loosen up and fall.
